CANDIDATE PROFILE:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The candidate should possess a Degree (preferably in finance and/or business) from any recognized university.
- Should have ideally an understanding of financial markets – particularly the credit derivatives market.
- Alternatively demonstrate a strong interest in the mechanics of financial markets.
- Knowledge of data vendor offerings within financial services is preferable.
- Should be strong in Microsoft Excel and Access and working knowledge of SQL.
- Should possess strong communication skills,particularly written communication and also excellent team-working skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Data analyst role within the Credit Operations team.
- The team is responsible for key maintenance of and client support for the flagship CDS product.
- Run regular operational data processes to maintain the Credit products as prescribed by the Credit Operations management team
- Provide client support (eg, on-boarding and product queries) as scoped by Credit Operations management team
- Need to assist in compiling regular metrics of operational activity including data quality statistics
- Assist in acceptance testing of product software releases
- Improve operational efficiency through proposing process enhancements – and then implementing as agreed with the management team.
